The skin
Siding that keeps the weather on the outside.
We specialize in any kind of siding installation, from LP siding to Hardie.
Chapter 01
Where siding fails, and why it starts behind the boards
Most siding trouble is not the siding. It is water that found its way behind it, through a housewrap seam that was lapped the wrong way or a window that was never flashed properly.
You will not see that mistake on installation day. You see it years later, as a stain below a window or a soft spot in the sheathing. So the work that matters most happens before a single board goes on.

Housewrap and window flashing first, then the siding
Every wall gets housewrap lapped so water sheds down and out, and every window is flashed before the siding reaches it. Only then do we hang the exterior.
We install any kind of siding, from LP siding to Hardie: lap siding for clean horizontal lines, board and batten for a vertical, ranch-house look, with trim cut and set to match.
Chapter 03
Siding paired with stacked stone
Our finished homes often pair siding with stacked-stone wainscot and stone-front garages. The stone grounds the house at eye level and the siding carries the colour above it.
Because the same crew framed the wall and wrapped it, the transitions where siding meets stone, soffit and window trim are planned in advance rather than patched on the last day.
LF Construction & Excavating: siding installed by the same crew that frames and roofs the house. Call (509) 859-5594.

Wrapped first, lit at dusk last
The wrap on the left becomes the finished house on the right. Siding follows framing and roofing on every job, and you can see the results across our completed projects.
